The hard rock band will be promoting their yet-to-be-released 12th album during their 2013 tour, and many Canadian and U.S. cities are scheduled for appearances along with international locations. The band will visit Bulgaria and Poland for the first time with Sweden and Wales getting the first visit since 2000. They also intend to perform several South African concerts, bringing them to that part of the world for the first time in a 15-year span.
Canadian concerts are scheduled to take place in the following locations: Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Vancouver. The tour will also include a number of U.S. cities from coast to coast such as Uncasville, State College, Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte, Columbus, Louisville, Portland, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas and Glendale. The American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, is hosting the band on April 11 for one of their performances. The arena opened in 2001 and has been the venue for many sporting events as well as concerts and other forms of entertainment. It can hold up to 21,000 concertgoers when musical events are being held there, and it is a favorite stop for many celebrities when they embark on world tours. Bon Jovi tickets are selling quickly for the event in Dallas as well as all other concerts being performed in North America and around the world.
The band is breaking up the North American concerts into two separate portions. The first U.S. and Canadian leg takes place from February 9 until April 25. The group will then perform two May concerts in Africa after which time they will travel to Europe for concert performances from May 14 until July 3. When these performances have taken place, the rock group then returns to the U.S. to finish their "Because We Can Tour" with five more concert appearances, all of which will be held in a variety of stadiums. The upcoming tour will be the 15th time that the band has traveled and performed their music at various worldwide locations. The members are certainly no strangers to touring and have entertained over 35 million fans in over 50 countries throughout their musical career.
