Wilmington, MA (PRWEB) January 5, 2009 -- Bill Dube and the American Red Cross are asking people to come out and give blood as the recent ice & snow storms that hit New England have canceled blood drives.
Susan Parmer of the Northern New England Region of the Red Cross' blood services, says more than 500 units of blood expected this month have been lost and additional losses are anticipated. Potential donors must be at least 17, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Donors can give blood every eight weeks.
