Being able to write well is essential to succeeding in life, and we appreciate the hotel's support of our youth writers. We're delighted by our ongoing partnership, and encourage everyone to support a young writer in their own way.
Boston, Mass. (PRWEB) April 06, 2012
The Copley Square Hotel, a AAA Four Diamond luxury boutique hotel located in Boston’s vibrant Back Bay neighborhood, is celebrating “National Encourage A Young Writer Day” by donating $5 per each of the Boston boutique hotel’s occupied rooms on April 10, 2012 to 826 Boston, a nonprofit youth writing center that offers free workshops, after-school tutoring, class field trips, in-school writing help, and publishing opportunities to Boston Public School students ages six to 18.
“For the past three years, we have forged a great partnership with 826 Boston,” General Manager, John Maibach said. “As a part of our nightly turndown service, we have provided each guest a series of short stories, all written by students of 826 Boston, and have encouraged our guests to donate to this great organization. This is just another opportunity for us to give back and to help kids in our city.”
In addition, the Copley Square Hotel will be asking guests to donate upon check-in and providing information on other opportunities throughout the year on how to support the organization.
“Being able to write well is essential to succeeding in life, and we appreciate the hotel's support of our youth writers. We're delighted by our ongoing partnership, and encourage everyone to support a young writer in their own way,” said Daniel Johnson, Executive Director of 826 Boston.
The Copley Square Hotel is located at 47 Huntington Avenue at the corner of Exeter Street and
Huntington Avenue, in Boston, MA 02116. Hotel reservations may be made online or by calling the Reservations Department at 800-225-7062.
