Our office and our staff have been very busy with some very exciting work so far in 2012. We have made certain to maintain the personalized service and collaborative spirit that got our company here in the first place.

When your first office is out of your basement, it can be tough to predict the road ahead, but Ben McElroy, owner and executive producer of McElroy Films, has proven that sticking to his philosophy that video can be high quality at lower cost can create rapid success.

“When I created McElroy Films, I wanted to be in an office, I wanted to have a staff, and I wanted exciting clients and opportunities,” Ben reflected. “Using a client-first approach, using SEO . . . It’s all come very fast and I’m proud that not only have we had an office close to Boston for some time, but we out-grew that space and already had to move to a larger facility and hire additional staff.”

McElroy Films new location at 50 Mall Road in Burlington, Mass houses a staff of editors, sales and marketing, and a new theater room with additional space to expand. No sooner had the staff moved into the office, several clients, old and new, started inquiring about new video for 2012.

In January, McElroy Films became the exclusive personal videographers of the Newt Gingrich Campaign in New Hampshire, following his every engagement leading up to the primary election. Later, a broadcast spot featuring Jim Rice endorsing Brian Evan’s new hit single “At Fenway” hit TV screens and a recruitment video for the Greater Boston Realtors Association was distributed to prospective members.

In February, non-profit giants Fenway Health and Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America commissioned original, high-concept videos to show at their premiere annual fundraising events.

“Our office and our staff have been very busy with some very exciting work so far in 2012,” Ben said, “but we have made certain to maintain the personalized service and collaborative spirit that got our company here in the first place.”

With many more jobs on the horizon, further expansion isn’t out of the question.

“Moving to a bigger location can be a hassle, but it’s a very nice problem to have,” Ben smiled.
