The Medical Team of RefineMD, the aesthetic medical spa, announced today that they will present About Face: Turn Back the Clock on Aging, an educational event at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kimberly, WI. The event, scheduled on October 19, 2010 will feature information on Fractionated Skin Resurfacing, MicroLaserPeels, Photo Rejuvenation, BOTOX®, JUVEDERM®, Skin Tightening and a number of other cosmetic treatments.

About Dawn Rogers, MD
Dr. Rogers is a board-certified family medicine physician. A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, Dr. Rogers received her bachelor's degree in microbiology from Louisiana Tech University in 1987. Dr. Rogers received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston graduating with honors in 1994. Dr. Rogers completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Dr. Rogers has been board-certified in Family Medicine since 1997 and has been practicing medical aesthetics for four years.

In her free time, Dr. Rogers enjoys gardening and spending time with her family.

About Carrie Blanc, MD
A consummate traveler Dr Carrie Blanc has lived on both coasts and a few places in between. She decided to set down her bags in Appleton eight years ago.

Originally from California she received her undergraduate degree from the University of California Berkeley and her medical degree from the University of California San Diego. She completed her medical training at UW Madison and at Harvard University in Boston.

Dr. Blanc’s professional interests include women's health, aesthetics and holistic medicine. Her goal is to help patients feel good inside and out.

Dr Blanc is an avid reader and runner and is fluent in Spanish and French. Along with her husband and young daughter she enjoys motorcycling and gardening. She continues to try to nudge her black thumb towards green. She has a passion for traveling and is always planning her next trip.

About Veronica Solis-Rohr, MD
Dr. Solis-Rohr is a “family doctor” in its fullest sense. She enjoys caring for the entire family; providing care for them from infancy through adolescence, to taking care of adult women and men. She also performs minor surgical procedures and assists in surgery on a regular basis.

Dr. Solis-Rohr is a board-certified family medicine physician with special interests in promoting healthy lifestyles, women’s health, aesthetics and cosmetic procedures, and anti-aging. She received her undergraduate and medical degree from Catholic University of Chile. Dr. Solis-Rohr completed her residency in family medicine at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. Solis-Rohr is married with two children and is dedicated to volunteering at her children’s schools. In her free time she enjoys swimming, golfing, reading and participating in family events. She is also fluent in Spanish.

About Kay Theyerl, MD
Kay Theyerl, MD, MS, a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician works with her patients to prevent and treat chronic disease, including obesity, hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, depression, and chronic pain, as well as diagnosing and treating a wide range of adult conditions. She is passionate about teaching her patients to feel their best by incorporating healthy lifestyle and other integrative modalities with traditional medicine.

Dr. Theyerl earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a master’s degree in cardiovascular physiology from George Williams College. After a career spanning 15 years, she then earned her medical degree from The Medical College of WI and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Gundersen Lutheran. She has since earned certification by the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine.

Her passion for patients and for lifestyle began at the Pritikin Longevity Center, an inpatient lifestyle program integrating diet, exercise, and mind-body medicine for optimal health, where she held positions as physiologist, Program Director and Associate Director. She then worked in Epidemiology, first with DuPont developing and implementing database training for physicians, and then with an epidemiology consulting company. Before returning to medical school she was a clinical research associate, conducting breast cancer research for a large pharmaceutical company. Throughout her career, she has developed extensive experience and skills in leadership, management, and teaching and training. Dr. Theyerl has worked with Thedacare Internal Medicine Neenah for the past 6 years.
