The Vision Group has designed their Bowling Green neighborhood - Traditions at Lovers Lane - in a way that turns away from sprawling homogenized designs and returns to the roots of a true neighborhood. A group of planners traveled the Southeast to study old towns, to measure street widths, building set-backs and heights, lot sizes, roof pitches, porches and parking spaces. Certain basic traits emerged that characterize all successful towns. These traits were distilled in Traditions design elements. These elements work together to foster a harmonious architectural language tied to the traditions of the region; to plan for both commercial and residential uses but without the customary divisions that require dependence on the automobile; and encourage relationships between people, the community and the natural environment.

Houses and buildings sitting closer to the streets allows for a sense of scale and enclosure that make the pedestrian feel more comfortable and make the streets feel more like "outdoor rooms." On street parking also contributes to the feel of streets being "enclosed" and add greatly to the security of children playing. Streetlights are built to "human scale" and designed to preserve the view of the night sky instead of towering above the roads with blinding light. Streets often end in a "Visual Terminus", a place where the eye stops and registers a memorable vision such as a monument, a pleasant curve or a significant landscape. Building height, setbacks and spacing define the streets, squares and open areas that comprise the community's public realm. The uses of buildings and their relationships to each other affect the activity and vitality of Traditions.

From 4 and 5 bedroom Park Homes to condos in Bowling Green - Traditions has truly raised the bar for the Bowling Green real estate market. Traditions offers residences from $150k-785k, ranging from well-appointed condos, town-homes, and single-family homes. Providing a focus on Lifestyle, Location, and Low-Maintenance living, Traditions is one of the few remaining developments in the city of Bowling Green, and provides residents with access to neighborhood parks, community centers, and a community pool. This development also offers maintenance free living by managing all the landscaping - leaving you more time to enjoy your new home.
