Avid Collector, Andrew Hawley from Vintage Rock Posters, announces his search for original 1966 Rolling Stones Lynn Massachusetts Manning Bowl concert posters. The Stones launched their fifth U.S. tour at the stadium on June 24, 1966. According to Hawley, "Hubbub Productions brought the Stones to Lynn, which is about 10 miles from Boston. The touted the show as the Stones' first show in the U.S. and the only Stones appearance in New England on the tour. The later statement was false since the Stones played Hartford, Connecticut three days later. Hubbub Productions printed a boxing style poster that was small in size. It featured a yellow background with face shoots of the five band members. The opening acts were not listed on the tour blank because different local bands opened in each city on the tour. Posters were hung in local bowling alleys and other local stores to advertising the upcoming concert. The Standells and the Trade Winds opened for the Stones that night in Lynn. Unfortunately, rain disrupted the show and cut short the Stones' performance to the great displeasure of the audience."
