These days, traditional PR should serve as the foundation, but the Internet has presented a whole new side to PR and marketing. We stay on the cutting edge of that trend by bringing our knowledge of search engine optimization and online lead generation.

Utah Business magazine recently named PRMarketing.com to its list of the top 20 public relations firms in the state.
The list, based on gross billing, included not only firms that offer purely public relations, but also full service agencies, which dabble in advertising, marketing and graphic design.
“I am so pleased and honored to be on the list with agencies like Richter7, The Summit Group and Intrepid,” said Lori Gilson, president of PRMarketing.com. “This is right where we want to be at this point in our growth and we are grateful to be grouped with such reputable firms.”
Gilson added that the staff at PRMarketing.com, which focuses on online public relations, was the backbone to the company’s success.
“Our team has some of the brightest, most innovative people I’ve ever met in the industry,” Gilson said. “They blow me away on a daily basis.”
The list was released in Utah Business magazine’s “Book of Lists,” at the start of 2012. The book, with more than 1,500 companies, contains contact information, names of senior officials and Web addresses for each business listed.
“We have more than 20,000 subscribers to our magazine,” said Suzanne Broadbent, an advertising sales executive at Utah Business magazine. “People use this book as a reference all the time, so if a company is in it, they have reached a status where people really deserve to know about them.”
Marty Carpenter, director of communications and marketing at the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, shared a similar opinion of the list.
"Utah Business shapes the opinions of business leaders in Utah," he said. "Making this list shows a level of expertise and reliability not every firm can tout."
PRMarketing.com merges traditional public relations — media relations, crisis and image management — with online and social media marketing strategy, according to Gilson.
“Public relations has seen quite an evolution the last 10 to 15 years,” said Pat Parkinson, director of public relations at PRMarketing.com. “These days, traditional PR should serve as the foundation, but the Internet has presented a whole new side to PR and marketing. We stay on the cutting edge of that trend by bringing our knowledge of search engine optimization and online lead generation.”
