Designworks Revitalizes the Brand for Mobile Wireless Industry Guru Andrew Seybold

Designworks today announced the completion of its work on a major cross-media brand development program for Andrew Seybold, Inc., one of the world's foremost consulting firms serving the mobile wireless industry. Designworks collaborated with a consultant from Wireless NVision to provide brand strategy and creative services. Mr. Seybold introduced the revitalized brand to positive reviews at his firm's Annual Wireless Dinner, which hosted more than 300 executives from Verizon Wireless, Disney Mobile, Motorola, Ericsson and other well-known organizations.

Business Challenge

Despite a long-established reputation for technology and business consulting leadership in the wireless industry, the market's perception of the Andrew Seybold brand had not kept pace with the firm's growing industry knowledge and influence. Designworks evaluated the firm's business model and conducted an external brand audit, which revealed favorable brand recognition for founder Andrew Seybold's name. The agency recommended changing the firm's name from 'Outlook4Mobility' in favor of a new, more integrated use of 'Andrew Seybold' across the entire organization and its service brands.

Rejuvenated Brand Identity

Designworks' creative team helped Andrew Seybold capture the value not only of the firm's substantial industry expertise but also its reputation for candid analysis, and aligned its brand voice and messaging accordingly. The brand family was restructured to reflect business priorities going forward. New service names, taglines and logo designs were created in line with the brand hierarchy. A new look and feel and editorial content contributed to the new identity, which was bold, like the founder, and characterized Andrew Seybold as the go-to company -- as the new tagline says -- 'when you want straight answers'.

Dynamic Website Design

Designworks helped put the Seybold website at the core of its marketing communications initiatives. A new user interface was designed and content developed to convey the firm's consulting leadership and attract visitors to its webinars, publications, speaker's bureau and founder's blog.
