It's the sort of break that writers dream about and who wouldn't want the opportunity to oggle Nigel Barker in person?
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) September 15, 2010
It's not every day that a girl gets to feel like Cinderella going to the ball. But for Nicole Porter, author of "The Break-up Cookbook: Recipes for Singles Who Aren't Getting Any ... Anymore," receiving her invitation to speak on the "Ladies Night Out" panel with America's Next Top Model's Nigel Barker felt just like having her very own fairy godmother.
"It's the sort of break that writers dream about and who wouldn't want the opportunity to oggle Nigel Barker in person," says Nicole Porter. The panel is hosted as a part of the 15th annual Baltimore Book Festival which runs Sept. 24-26, 2010. "I get to trade recipes, dating horror stories, and laughs with the people of Baltimore. I've never been to the city before and I can't wait to try the local fare."
Always realistic, Nicole sees no potential relationship with the very happily married Nigel Barker, but she's hoping that the city of Baltimore will find a place for her in its heart. "Unfortunately, the festival is purely a one-night stand," jokes the author. "But I'm hoping for an ongoing friends-with-benefits arrangement."
The "Ladies Night Out Panel" is a free event held September 24, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. and sponsored by Barefoot Wine & Bubbly. Barefoot Wine & Bubbly will also be providing free wine for visitors preceding the event. Nicole will be signing copies of "The Break-up Cookbook" following the panel discussion.
