A female blacksmith is surrounded by family and villagers who all believed that she is cursed. At first, she refuses to believe them. But the years pass on and none of her betrothals ever last long, their paths always lead away from her towards death or into the arms of another person, which leaves her standing alone time and time again. She has finally resigned herself to her fate that no single male will ask for her hand. Until one day, a nomad comes to visit her brother and she begins to question it all.
The Chrama Chronicles: The Curse is a mythological tale written by Breanna Wilson that tells the story of Zara, a blacksmith who believes that she is cursed because those who fall in love with her eventually die or fall in love at the next woman that walks by. She meets Jax, a nomad and companion to Xenon, her warrior brother. Zara is happy being with Jax. It’s something that she has been missing most of her life. But her happy feeling is quickly followed by feelings of sadness. She knows that as a nomad, Jax will constantly travel, gets killed or might fall in love with someone else. She also has feelings towards him but she can’t allow herself to fall in love because she knows that she is cursed.
She left their village and tracks down the gods, asks them and seeks for an answer. She knows that there has to be a reason as to why no man can be with her without a consequence around the corner. With Night, her wolf friend, she embarks on a journey that will lead her to The Fates Temple The Fates: Amy future, Fas past, Dox present, and Jif dream. The four Fates will be able to answer Zara’s question, if it is ingrained on her fate and lifeline, they should know why. But what answers will Zara gets from the gods? Will she be able to return home and reunited with her family and Jax?
