The most recent statistics from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery shows that 85% of all cosmetic enhancement procedures in 2009 were nonsurgical in nature. At Art Plastic Surgery, a New Jersey plastic surgery practice, Dr. Luis A. Zapiach answers this latest trend in plastic surgery by offering a cutting-edge breast enhancement technique designed to cosmetically enhance a patient’s breasts while minimizing scarring and the risks commonly associated with surgical procedures. Known as a Natural Breast Augmentation, Dr. Zapiach says the procedure can provide an increasingly advantageous outcome because the combination of procedures creates a dual aesthetic improvement by providing breast enhancement and body contouring together.
Dr. Zapiach says he first performs liposuction for areas of the body such as the stomach, love handles, and thighs, followed by the relocation of the extracted fat to the breasts for an augmentation without the use of breast implants. In addition to eliminating the need for foreign materials such as implants, he adds that the natural breast augmentation procedure allows him to precisely shape the breasts with fewer incisions.
Dr. Zapiach says the procedure is not without its disadvantages. Natural Breast Augmentation limits the increase in breast size, and can take several treatment sessions to obtain optimal results. However, he stresses that all cosmetic enhancement procedures have a variety of risks and benefits that need to be thoroughly discussed throughout the consultation process. Ultimately, he says he is committed to patient safety and satisfaction, which is why he focuses on providing the appropriate procedure for each patient, whether it’s natural breast augmentation, liposuction, or minimally-invasive BOTOX® Cosmetic injections.
