Broadleaf Commerce, the open source software provider for customized eCommerce solutions, today announced it is enhancing its sales tax module with Avalara's Matrix Master™ service, one of the world’s largest databases of Universal Product Codes with specialized sales taxability data.

Avalara, Inc., is a leading provider of cloud-based software delivering compliance solutions related to sales tax, VAT and other transactional taxes. Broadleaf Commerce has been a certified Avalara solution partner since 2013, integrating Avalara’s software as a service (SaaS) offering for sales tax management directly into its own applications.
