New York, New York (PRWEB) October 31, 2012
The Wednesday evening program on November 7th will feature a delectable dairy cuisine, a wonderful crowd of guys and girls, and inspiration from Rabbi Fingerer, renowned lecturer and author and educational director of Brooklyn Jewish Xperience, speaking on the intriguing subject “Jews and Halloween.” Participants will the have the opportunity for professional networking and will meet the CEO of a company known as the "Landlord to Corporate America." The guest CEO owns millions of square feet of rental properties. His tenants include Fortune 500 companies such as Bed Bath & Beyond. He is also a renowned philanthropist and community leader. BJX students will hear the guest CEO’s life story and learn from him how to achieve success in their personal and professional lives and how to advance in their careers.
BJX has attracted the attention and admiration of many leaders of the Jewish world. Malcolm Hoenlein, a renowned expert on Jewish and world affairs, who serves as executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish American Jewish Organizations was a guest speaker at the BJX Shabbaton last winter. “I was very impressed by the quality of the participants at the Brooklyn Jewish Xperience. They expressed a keen interest and were closely looking for greater Jewish identity and knowledge. For many, this is a unique opportunity to explore Jewish heritage and learn in a social setting,” said Hoenlein.
Charlie Harary, a famous speaker and business executive was also a guest speaker for BJX. Mr. Harary said, "I admire BJX's remarkable work. It's making a real difference."
"I got to experience Rosh Hashanah with Rabbi Fingerer and Marc Caller. My family and I were overwhelmed, excited and moved by the participants of BJX! It made my Rosh Hashanah and my year; the way Rabbi Fingerer spoke, the way he led the services and explained every word–I saw his true love for the Jewish people. He taps into a group of Jews that no other individual has! It was exciting to be part of it," said Rabbi Zecharia Wallerstein, founder and director of Ohr Naava.
Young professionals really look forward to attending Brooklyn Jewish Events run by Brooklyn Jewish Xperience. Many professionals were concerned that the upcoming Wednesday program will be cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy. "We provided BJX participants with the most up-to-date information regarding our scheduled program. Due to Hurricane Sandy we were forced to reschedule,” said Rabbi Moshe Fingerer. “We want everyone to be safe. We also don't want anyone to miss this special BJX program."
The Wednesday evening program is a private event. While there is no admission fee, registration is required. Eligible participants (ages 20-35) are encouraged to register no later than 1 P.M. on November 4th.
