Day 1: Arrive in Lhasa. Guides will meet groups at the airport or train station and transfer them to their hotel in Lhasa. After checking into the hotel, this can be a great time to do some exploring, but be sure not to overdo it. Some travelers can succumb to altitude sickness if care isn’t taken while acclimatizing. Be sure to drink lots of water.

Day 2: Travelers start learning about the unique Tibetan custom on the first day of sightseeing! Walk where Dalai Lamas have walked in Potala Palace and take a step back in time at Jokhang Temple which houses the only known image of the Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama. Mean while, tourists should never miss the light walking experience around the Barkhor streets where the real Tibetan city life can be expressed. In the afternoon, tourists can have opportunity to visit the interesting Buddhism study activities in Sera Monastery. Day 3: Travelers will be transferred to east suburbs of Lhasa city to visit the Drak Yerpa Hermitage. Drak Yerpa is a place that has deep meanings in the Tibetan spiritual culture. There is a saying that "Lhasa is the shrine of Tibet and Drak Yerpa is the shrine of Lhasa. Not seeing Drak Yerpa in Lhasa is just like making a dress without the collar." The entrance to the Yerpa Valley is about 16 km to the northeast of Lhasa on the northern bank of the Kyichu River. From there, it is another 10 km to the famous ancient meditation caves.

Day 4: Today the driving route is from Lhasa to Shigatse. In the morning around 9 am, the group will leave Lhasa for Shigatse city along the southern friendship highway through Gyantse. Crossing over the summit of Kamba La (4794 m), travelers can see the tranquil turquoise water of the Yamdrok. Yamdrok is one of the three holiest lakes in Tibet and it is one famous Tibet tourists’ attraction. Far in the distance travelers can view the towering massif of Mt. Nojin Kangtsang (7191 m) and the staggering Karo-la Glacier (5045 m).

Day 5: Today tourists will visit the famous Tashilumpu Monastery and then take the landscape trip to Shegar. This morning travelers have a chance to visit the Tashilumpu Monastery, the home of the Panchen Lama, which is essentially a walled town with cobbled and twisting lanes that revolve around a magnificent monastery. Then tour group will be taken to the Shegar town via the Gyatsola mountain pass (altitude 5140 m). Have a rest and prepare for Everest highlight adventure tomorrow.

Day 6: Drive from Shegar to the Rongbuk Monastery and the Campsite. Tourists can trek to Everest Base Camp. Depart from Shegar in the early morning around 8 am and drive about 30 km to the Gyula Mountain pass where travelers may have the opportunity to take photos of the amazing Everest Sunrise, and then have a straight drive to the Rongbuk Monastery (70 km) where to rest few minutes. Rongphu Monastery is the highest monastery in the world. After some rest in Rongphu monastery, tour group will continue the drive to campsite (around 11:30 am) and check in the local tented guesthouses. For those trekkers, it is great to do the 4 km high altitude trekking to Everest Base Camp and enjoy the view to the Great Mt. Everest. At around 8 pm, the tour group may have good opportunity to visit the Everest Sunset nearby their tent. It is really awesome.

Day 7: Mt. Everest B.C-Zhangmu which is the border between Tibet and Nepal, 340 km landscape trip
Wake up this morning below the stunning north face of the Mt. Everest (8844.43 m) which is the highest mountain on earth. For those tourists who want to go to the Base Camp in the morning to have closer view to the Mt. Everest, they can take the local environment tour vehicle to the Everest. B.C and after shooting the photos, they come back to the campsite and then drive to Zhangmu which is the border between Nepal and Tibet.

Day 08: Final departure to Nepal
After having breakfasts in the hotel, tourists can pack the luggage well and have a short rest before leaving Tibet for Nepal. Around 11 am, the Tibetan tour guide will take tourists to clear the immigration customs and check out of Tibet. Tourists can extend to Nepal by themselves.
