Buffalo, NY (PRWEB) December 24, 2008
William K. Mattar Law Offices will be teaming up with Designated Drivers of Buffalo to provide safe rides home this New Year's Eve for pickups originating within the city of Buffalo. The safe ride home program will be available from 10 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2008, through 4 a.m. on Thursday, January 1, 2009.
"I want to help keep everyone on the roads safer this New Year's Eve, and this is my gift to my neighbors this holiday season," said attorney William Mattar, founder of William K. Mattar Law Offices.
Call Designated Drivers of Buffalo, and they will send two uniformed drivers to pick up patrons and their cars. While patrons typically pay for this service themselves, attorney William Mattar will be picking up the entire tab during Mattar's New Year's Eve Safe and Sober Ride Home Program. The program pays for rides originating within the city of Buffalo with a maximum drop-off distance of 25 miles within Western New York.
"On New Year's Eve when family and friends are getting together to celebrate, we would like help to ensure that everyone involved has a fun and safe evening," said Michael Mule, Owner of Designated Drivers of Buffalo.
To request a free ride home within Buffalo city limits, individuals can call Designated Drivers of Buffalo at (716) 713-7703. Rides are made available to area residents who otherwise might attempt to drive home after drinking. Rides are provided to an individual's residence--not to other drinking locations. Due to the high number of ride requests on New Year's Eve, rides cannot be guaranteed for everyone who calls; however, every attempt will be made to accommodate everyone who requests a ride home.
