Bullhorn's continued growth illustrates how the flexibility of our purely Web-based, Software as a Service model allows clients to affordably invest to drive business, even during uncertain economic times
Boston, MA (Vocus) September 23, 2010
Bullhorn®, the global leader in on demand staffing and recruiting software, today announced results for the first half of 2010, which ended on June 30th. The company increased its client base by 25% and number of active users by over 30% compared to the first half of 2009, with a corresponding increase in revenue. Key client wins during the first two quarters of 2010 included Addison Search, Medix, ReThink and IPA. Rapid international growth continued, particularly in the UK, where Bullhorn added its 100th client.
“Bullhorn’s continued growth illustrates how the flexibility of our purely Web-based, Software as a Service model allows clients to affordably invest to drive business, even during uncertain economic times,” said Art Papas, Bullhorn’s founder and CEO. “I commend all of our employees, including the significant number of recent hires, for executing our goal of helping staffing and recruiting agencies grow their businesses.”
Bullhorn continued to invest significantly in staff and infrastructure to support worldwide growth. The company increased its headcount by 22% over the previous year, including substantial additions to its UK sales and support teams. Bullhorn also further improved its unmatched ability to securely manage international client data by achieving EU Safe Harbour and SAS 70 Type II certifications.
“Signing our 100th client after being in the UK for just over a year clearly indicates our leadership in this market,” said Bullhorn’s UK Managing Director, Peter Linas. “The cost savings, flexibility and scalability of the Bullhorn platform are hard to ignore, and this is clearly reflected in the growing number of UK agencies choosing us to support their business growth.”
During the first half of the year, Bullhorn enhanced its applicant tracking and customer relationship management system with the release of Bullhorn Universal Search and extensive advancements to Bullhorn Mobile. Additionally, in March the company released the Bullhorn Marketplace, the staffing and recruiting industry’s destination for software applications and services that extend the Bullhorn platform.
“Product and service innovation and originality has been critical in getting us to where we are today and will continue to drive our growth and leadership within this market,” said Papas.
Bullhorn’s growth received recognition with prominent rankings among Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 Companies, Software Magazine’s Software 500, Always On’s OnDemand 100 and Deloitte LLP’s Technology Fast 500™ lists.
