Through their new Industry Associations Program, internet directory http://www.businessmagnet.co.uk is providing visitors to the site with a new visual recognition of the various industry association memberships and trade accreditations held by its clients.
AMHSA was one of the first associations to join the Program which encourages visitors to the directory to understand just what their various memberships and accreditations may mean to them as a potential customer.
Having represented the interest of the automated material handling industry for over 25 years and as the industry’s key association, AMHSA promotes excellence the in the vital areas of safety, reliability, solutions provision and after sales support.
AMHSA has around 50 specialist member businesses that supply conveyor systems, automated handling solutions and associated equipment. The association plays a significant role in issues that have an effect on the automated handling sector and is involved in drafting standards for CEN and ISO and maintains close contact with central government departments including the Department for Business, the HSE and Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR - formerly the DTI).
Daniel French, co-founder and Sales Director at Businessmagnet said “The AMHSA’s objectives fit well with what we are trying to achieve through the Program - we are giving our visitors the opportunity to make a more informed choice of supplier”.
French added “Our technology strategy has increased our search engine coverage in the last quarter by over 40%, so on a daily basis the directory is getting more traffic than ever before - we currently receive up to 3.5million page views each month and up to 1million unique users every month”.
The award winning directory has successfully built their business working with a large number of organisations in a diverse range of business sectors. “We have over 120,000 businesses covering more than 50,000 product and service categories featured on the directory. Through the program we are providing members of AMHSA the opportunity to highlight their status within their sector to our visitors”. Stated French.
As well as attributing the relevant association or trade body logo to their customers content on the directory, the Hertfordshire based firm has added an Industry Associations area to the site where visitors can get more detailed information about the relevant association and better understand what it means to them as a potential customer.
Through the association taking part in the Program, members of AMHSA also benefit from an extended allocation of keywords and description text in their complimentary listings.
