NetRFQ.com Launches Beta Application of Free Request For Quote (RFQ) Service

NetRFQ.com aims to simplify and empower the Request For Quote (RFQ) business process through its free and open web site. Negotiations and purchasing transactions are handled independently between the buyer and the vendor. No purchase is required and vendors don't pay any commission.

Miami, FL (PRWEB) June 1, 2009 -- NetRFQ.com is proud to announce the beta launch of a free web application aimed to simplify and empower the business process of a Request For Quote (RFQ). Using NetRFQ.com, corporate buyers can create a RFQ online for products and services they want to buy. Vendors receive notification in the relevant product categories and then can prepare a quote online as per the buyer's request.

Buyers and Vendors exchange RFQs and Quotes. No commitment to buy, no fees, no auctions. Free and Open to all.

The process is easy. Buyers create a RFQ simply by entering products and quantities. Vendors in turn, create a quote by filling in the blanks for prices. Users can also attach files with their own custom RFQ or quote documents. In addition, they can email their online RFQ or quote to anyone.

"We created NetRFQ.com because we saw the need for a central web-based system which brings corporate buyers and vendors in one place with the sole purpose of creating and exchanging RFQs and quotes." said Nicholas Nicolaou, President of the project's funder, DataLink IT Inc.

The advantages of NetRFQ.com are many. Buyers can save time by only needing to create a RFQ once, and then making it available to thousands of vendors. Buyers can also save money by leveraging better pricing from multiple vendors.

Vendors can increase their sales potential from the additional opportunities afforded them through the community. Vendors can also lower marketing costs by directly locating prospective buyers who want to buy what they sell.

Unlike similar websites, NetRFQ.com is not an auction site. There is no contractual commitment for the buyer to purchase from any vendor regardless of the price. Vendors do not pay a commission and the purchasing transaction is handled independently between the buyer and the vendor. And, NetRFQ.com is open and free to all users without any membership fees.

"There are no commitments to buy, no auctions or fees," says Nicolaou. NetRFQ.com is very different from other sites that have a limited number of pre-selected suppliers, have strict requirements for products, control the transaction and charge commission fees. "Anyone can be a Buyer and create a Request For Quote (RFQ), OR be a Vendor and create a quote. NetRFQ.com is simply a forum to find and exchange RFQs and quotes."

NetRFQ.com can dramatically expand the marketplace and create business opportunities for both buyers and vendors. With the tough economic climate, businesses looking to make a purchase can take advantage of the site to save both time and money. In turn, vendors looking to sell to businesses can significantly increase their chances of a sale by leveraging more opportunities to provide a quote.
