Impact Safety Systems Introduces New Course Schedule

Impact Safety Systems of Augusta has new courses available, including Georgia Utility Manager Refresher courses, and Excavation Competent Person courses.

Impact Safety Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce their latest course schedule for February and March classes. Impact Safety Systems is an industrial safety training provider in Augusta, Georgia. They conduct 10 and 30 hour training courses for companies required to comply with OSHA safety regulations.

On Feb. 18, Impact is offering a Georgia Utility Manager Refresher, a 4-hour course and excavation refresher, at their Augusta facility. The class will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., and will require a $95 fee. Also on Feb. 18 is the Georgia Utility Foreman course, a 7-hour course for excavation competency, at their Augusta facility. The class will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and will require a $195 fee.

On March 1, Impact will be offering the Georgia Utility Manager Refresher course a second time. It will also be from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and require the $95 fee, but the class is being held at the Savannah facility. Also at the Savannah facility on March 1, the Georgia Utility Foreman class will offered from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a $195 fee.

The state of Georgia requires Persons holding a conditioned air contractor license, electrical contractor license, or plumber license to complete at least four hours per year of instruction related to their profession. A four hour refresher is required to renew a license and a full, seven to eight hour course is required to apply for the license.
