New iPad app for Learning Business English and Everyday English

The Say it Better in English app is all about making English language study fun, easy, and engaging.

Language Success Press, a publisher of accent reduction and business English materials, announces the release of the Say it Better in English iPad app. The innovative new app teaches 312 American English expressions through interactive methods.

The app is the perfect tool for those who need to improve their business English. The app teaches useful expressions related to participating in meetings, talking on the telephone, and dealing with everyday issues at the office. The app also includes hundreds of expressions related to daily life, in areas including shopping, travel, and socializing.

Lively cartoons show how each expression is used in real-life situations. When the learner clicks on the speaker icon, the cartoon comes to life with native English speakers reading the text aloud. Each expression has two additional usage examples that include audio. Interactive quizzes give immediate feedback with reward icons.

"The Say it Better in English app is all about making English language study fun, easy, and engaging," says Tanya Peterson, Marketing Director at Language Success Press.

The app lets users customize their learning experience. Users can add expressions they would like to keep studying to a customized study set. A bookmark feature lets users continue studying where they left off.

"We know many people would like to improve their English, but they don't have a lot of time in their busy day. This app lets learners improve their English in as little as 15 minutes a day," says Ms. Peterson. "That's enough time to go through a block of ten expressions, listen to all the examples and repeat and then take the quiz."

Expressions taught in the app include: drop by, get a move on, tied up, no wonder, on me, stuck in traffic, under a lot of pressure, it's not the end of the world, get cut off, oversleep, about to do something, get sidetracked, and hundreds more.

A Lite version of the Say it Better in English app is available for free. The full version at $9.99 teaches 312 expressions, while the free version teaches 10 expressions.

The app is based on the popular book "Say it Better in English" by ESL teacher Marianna Pascal. It is the latest in a series of ESL apps offered by Language Success Press. The company's other apps for learning English include Speak English Like an American, Speak Business English I, and Business English Power Verbs.

The app is available on iTunes here:
