SpineVision(R) announced today that it has appointed Stephan N. Buttron as Vice President of Worldwide Regulatory and Quality Affairs for SpineVision Inc., effective immediately.

He will therefore play a key and decisive role in driving commercialization of our brimming new-product pipeline that we expect will ensconce SpineVision's status as a preeminent and profitable spine company in the United States.

Since January 2007 Mr. Buttron has been Director of Regulatory Affairs for Kyphon Inc., a leading international spine company that acquired St. Francis Medical Technologies Inc., for whom Mr. Buttron had served as Director of Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance since November 2005--where he was instrumental in commercializing the X STOP(R) IPD(R) device.

"Stephan Buttron is a results-driven pro with more than two decades of progressively increasing responsibilities and demonstrated achievements in the areas of FDA compliance implementation, domestic and worldwide regulatory medical device approvals, and international business development," said Julian Mackenzie, SpineVision's Chief Executive Officer (CEO). "He will therefore play a key and decisive role in driving commercialization of our brimming new-product pipeline that we expect will ensconce SpineVision's status as a preeminent and profitable spine company in the United States."
