We believe that parents and students need and want to know more about the college admissions process, and we strive to provide greater access to this valuable information.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) May 02, 2013
C2 Education, the nation's fastest growing network of education support centers, has hosted a series of test prep and college admissions webinars over the past several months. On Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 8 PM EST (5 PM PST), they will host their newest webinar, "Big Changes to the Common App: What It Means to You."
This latest webinar will help parents and students to better understand the college admissions process, the details of completing college applications and college admissions essays, and the ways in which the new changes to the Common Application (which is accepted by more than 400 colleges and universities) will affect students applying to college this coming year.
"This event is part of an ongoing series of virtual and live events being held across the country," says C2 Education co-founder and CEO David Kim. "We believe that parents and students need and want to know more about the college admissions process, and we strive to provide greater access to this valuable information."
This month's webinar will help students and their parents to better understand the importance of college applications and how to navigate the new Common Application. It will be presented by Daniel Mendiola, C2 Education's Southwest Regional Trainer and one of the company's most experienced academic advisers.
Although this online event is free of charge, online registration is required. At the conclusion of the presentation, participants will receive a certificate for a free Academic Assessment and Consultation (a $120 value) at a local C2 Education center.
Past webinars have enjoyed great success. Participants not only gain a wealth of information from the presentations themselves, but are also given the opportunity to have their college admissions questions answered by a panel of academic experts, providing a unique chance to have a candid conversation about the college admissions process.
