Five of North American Seminars online continuing education courses have received CA approval for Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants license renewal credit
Franklin, TN (PRWEB) May 30, 2013
North American Seminars support hands on training for physical therapists, physical therapy assistants and occupational therapists as the primary method of continuing education. Without hands on skill, a therapist greatly reduces their ability to be an effective provider of valuable treatment to their patients. In an effort to increase retention and build on techniques and concept taught in North American Seminars continuing education courses, the team at healthclick has developed over 800 High Definition training films for the rehab population.
Five of North American Seminars online continuing education courses for PT and PTA have received approval for CA license renewal credit.

Vestibular Rehabilitation - Evaluation and Treatment - Each year over 8 million physician and emergency room visits are attributed to complaints of dizziness and imbalance. Symptoms of vestibular disorders can vary greatly from one person to the next and the population range can vary as much as the symptoms. As our population ages many more people will be seeking medical assistance for dizziness and imbalance or injuries due to these complaints. Soldiers returning from combat with post blast or post concussion injuries often have underlying vestibular disorders. The ability for clinicians to perform screening tests for differential diagnosis is critical for the future health and well being of their patients. Only 8% of suspected BBPV patients will have a proper diagnosis prior coming to a therapist. This course will provide a foundation for understanding proper evaluation and treatment techniques for various vestibular conditions.
These course meet the continuing education requirements for physical therapists in the States of California, Illinois, New York, Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Idaho, Indiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
