Cambridge Systematics Announces Leadership Transition

Cambridge Systematics, Inc. is pleased to announce that, effective June 1, 2011, Brad Wright will become the President and CEO of Cambridge Systematics. During his 18 years at CS, Brad has held a range of management positions and is currently a member of the firm's Executive Committee and the Vice President in charge of the freight business unit. Also effective June 1, Lance Neumann will become Chairman of the CS Board and will focus his time on client engagements and key national transportation policy issues.

As President and CEO, Mr. Wright will give priority to ensuring that client needs are being met on current engagements and building the company's position as the industry leader in providing innovative and practical solutions for our clients. "I am excited to work in partnership with our clients and employees to address today's transportation challenges and look forward to building on the firm's reputation for innovation, quality, and leadership," Mr. Wright stated.

Mr. Wright has more than 18 years of experience in the transportation field and has worked extensively with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), states, metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs), and private clients on a range of transportation consulting and technology engagements. Most recently, Mr. Wright served as the manager of the firm's Freight Transportation business line providing planning, policy, program support, and technology services for public- and private- sector clients in the freight industry. Previously, Mr. Wright served as the manager of the firm's Transportation Products and Services business line, which provided a wide range of technology-based services and solutions. Also, he launched and managed a business line to provide technology and consulting services for state and Federal agencies charged with regulatory and safety oversight of the motor carrier industry. Mr. Wright has been an active speaker and participant in multiple organizations, including ITS America, the Transportation Research Board, and the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance. He served as the Chairman of the Massachusetts Chapter of National Transportation Week.
