Runners will compete in Jus’ Running’s 13th annual DuPont Forest 12K Trail Race benefit at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 30th. The race benefits the day’s racetrack, DuPont State Forest in North Carolina.

The race starts and finishes on DuPont Forest’s resident Guion Farm on Sky Valley Road in Hendersonville. Participants will blaze a trail through the 10,400 acres of woodland between Hendersonville and Brevard. Registration is still open and costs $30 for pre-registration (ending March 29th) and $35 if signing up Saturday morning.

DuPont State Forest is a hiking hotspot with an abundance of trails to explore and sights to see, including waterfalls and wildlife. Race spectators and entrants alike are encouraged to check out the rest of the forest, not just the racing trail, before and after Saturday’s events.

An Upgraded Pop Up Trailer for Avid Outdooring

Fellow outdoor enthusiasts: SylvanSport will be on hand to showcase their high tech pop up camping trailers to the crowd. SylvanSport considers the DuPont benefit race an ideal place to engage with like-minded outdoor lovers who care about Mother Nature and actively seek to maintain it for future generations.

SylvanSport engineered their GO pop up camper to take advantage of aerodynamics and lightweight materials to create a camping trailer with a very small footprint, easing adventurers’ consciences as well as their wallets. GO features an all-aluminum adjustable frame that can be lowered for less wind resistance on the road and raised for ample headroom at the campsite. At 840 lbs., GO is one of the lightest trailers made, which means that virtually any small fuel efficient vehicle can haul GO and burn less gas in the process.

GO Camping Trailer Doubles as Heavy Duty Workhorse

SylvanSport’s design team created their GO pop up camper to be functional for everyday use , but also durable and well equipped for those with a more active outdoor lifestyle, so they included key features like:

  • fully TIG-welded and all-aluminum frame
  • Control-Tilt™ cargo bed with pneumatic dampening system
  • reinforced diamond plate flooring
  • long-lasting LED lighting
  • waterproof electrical system
  • cast aluminum wheels,
  • smooth riding torsion axle, with self-lubricating hubs
  • spare tire

GO is built to excel on and off the trail, so while it accommodates creature comforts like a built-in tent system, insulated bed platforms, and a self-inflating mattress, GO still hauls up to 1000 lbs. of cargo.
