EuroParcs, the European family camping holiday specialist, has added capacity at its 3 flagship campsites to meet increasing demand for its holidays in France and Spain.

the investment signifies an important step in our strategy for growth and shows our commitment to the campsites and our expected growth in family holidays

The investment has been spent on increasing the number of brand new six figure holiday homes available for its customers this summer.

Ron Jones, Managing Director at EuroParcs, revealed ‘the investment signifies an important step in our strategy for growth and shows our commitment to the campsites and our expected growth in family holidays in the regions in which we operate. The new mobile homes will ensure we have enough capacity to meet this year’s demand, specifically at our flagship campsites including our popular campsites in the Vendee.

La Garangeoire, is one of the campsites that will benefit from EuroParcs’ investment. The site, a member of the prestigious Castels association, is set within the estate of the Garangeoire chateau in the Vendee, has great facilities, including its own stables for guests to enjoy horse riding and a number of large swimming pools. 360° tours of EuroParcs’ mobile homes at La Garangeoire are available to view from today.

Sun Roller, the Spanish manufacturer of quality mobile homes, was selected by EuroParcs to build the new holiday homes. Jones explained ‘Sun Roller was selected because of their experience and know-how and the fact that their mobile homes are built almost entirely from recycled materials. This along with ensuring the timber used with our raised deckings for all our new homes comes from sustainable sources and ensuring appliances like water heaters are energy efficient helps us to work towards our green policy goals’.

Jones went on to say ‘We’ve seen a trend towards families wanting to stay in larger mobile homes because either they holiday with friends or family, especially grandparents, or simply because they want to have more space for themselves. Therefore, to meet this trend all our new holiday homes have 3 bedrooms, one double and two twin.

The camping boom seen in recent years in the UK has also reached France and Spain, with campsites in areas such as the Vendee, Brittany and Pays Basque benefiting from an influx of UK family campers looking for better weather and the chance to immerse themselves in a different culture. EuroParcs are perfectly placed to offer families the best camping holiday experience available.
