In addition to helping members find connections to others based on cancer type, age, and gender, CommuniCancer’s proprietary CommuniFactor Matching Technology helps them find matches based on compatible personalities.

According to The National Cancer Institute, one in three Americans will eventually develop some form of cancer. CommuniCancer has been designed to more effectively and efficiently support the large number of people who will be diagnosed with cancer by providing a resource that is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to anyone in the world. Members benefit from the convenience CommuniCancer offers because even on days they don’t feel well enough to attend a local support group meeting, they can still receive support through the Web site’s e-mail messaging system, chat room, and instant messenger.
