New Castle Hotels & Resorts is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Mackenzie as the General Manager of Keltic Lodge Resort and Spa in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. An 18 year veteran in the hospitality industry, Matthew has worked in world-class destination resort properties and has learned the operations of 4 diamond service in each hotel department.

The father of three, Matthew will complement Cape Breton Golf Resort’s 2012 season as the exciting renovations commence. Matthew Mackenzie is replacing Jim Frise, who is retiring to New Brunswick after several decades as one of Nova Scotia’s most respected hospitality personalities.
