Lombardi®, a leader in business process management (BPM) software, today announced that the global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) unit of Capgemini SA has selected its award-winning Teamworks® BPM software suite as the core platform to support the company's next-generation business process service offerings.

The agreement covers Capgemini's BPO group globally, spanning five BPO centres across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. The company will deploy Lombardi Teamworks as the standard process framework for all of its BPOpen 2.0™ BPO managed processes and will make it available to both existing and future customers as a way to help drive further efficiencies in their businesses.

The first deployment is focused on updating Capgemini's core Account Payables business process services and will initially be rolled out to the company's EMEA customers, and will be followed by all other BPO locations. Powered by Lombardi, the new process frameworks will enable Capgemini to devise and utilise optimised best practice processes, and deliver these new services scalably and efficiently. The result offers dramatic improvement results for its customers, while ensuring that the company can continue to differentiate itself from other BPO competitors.
