With Acquisition Activity Predicted to Rise, M&A Advisory Firm Capstone Welcomes Wes Teague as Senior Vice President

External growth consultants bring aboard "seasoned executive" to assist current clients and build new business

With activity in the mergers and acquisitions market expected to heat up in the new year, Capstone Strategic, Inc. engaged S. Wesley "Wes" Teague as Senior Vice President effective December 1, 2008. Teague will be responsible for growing Capstone's current client relationships as well as leading the firm's new business development efforts.

Teague most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of US China Business Solutions, Inc., a Washington, DC-based provider of global sourcing solutions for American businesses. He has wide experience in all aspects of the acquisition process, from market and company research through due diligence and integration planning.

"Having known Capstone's work for many years, I've always been impressed with the firm's dedication to a uniquely engineered process for M&A," said Teague. "I'm excited for the opportunity to become part of the Capstone team and bring my experience to such a dynamic group."

Teague previously was a principal in Samson Partners Consulting, where he provided management and consulting services to small and mid-sized companies, specializing in pre-acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition integration. He also served as Senior Vice President at INDUS Corporation, where he was responsible for the integrations and operations of two newly acquired business units.

As Senior Vice President of Operations at Computer & Hi-Tech Management, Inc, he prepared the company for sale to FC Business Systems, where he went on to become senior vice president.
As Executive Vice President of C-CUBED Corporation, Teague was responsible for daily operations, corporate growth strategy through four acquisitions, and corporate governance. He also co-managed the $40 Million cash sale of the employee-owned (ESOP) professional services government contractor to CACI, resulting in the transfer of all employees to the new company, and the distribution of shared sales proceeds to over 550 employee-owners.

Teague also worked for Mansur Corporation, Fluor/Daniel Corporation, DeRand Property Management Corporation and the Bank of Virginia. He holds a BS in economics from Auburn University and an MBA from The George Washington University. He is a veteran of the US Army's Judge Advocate General's Corps.

Teague is an active member and former Member of the Board of the National Capital Chapter of The Association for Corporate Growth, and is Vice Chairman of the Board and Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee of Goodwin House Inc., an Alexandria, Virginia faith-based CCRC. Teague, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and son.
