Action Donation Services® (ADS) announced today that it has partnered with Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies (PCCS) to be their exclusive agent nationwide for the processing of donated property including used boats, cars, RV's, yachts, heavy equipment and trucks.

"We are very pleased to be able to help the Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies with our unique service. Your donation of a car, boat, RV, or truck will help with the Center's ongoing education and research programs to study water quality in Cape Cod Bay, the humpback and right whale populations within the Gulf of Maine, and geologic processes along the entire Cape Cod coastline," said ADS Director of Marketing, Ted Cox.

ADS will accept and process qualified donations for the Provincetown Center anywhere in the U.S.A. Among the unique services beneficial to PCCS and its donors is a program that strives to maximize the selling price of property donations by "fixing up" or refurbishing donations whenever it will be beneficial - and selling retail whenever feasible (rather than wholesale) in order to maximize the return to PCCS. "Maximizing the gross sales price of donations also increases the legal tax deduction available to the donor - because donors in most cases are only allowed to claim a tax deduction equal to the selling price of their donated item," said Cox, "Donors love our program!"

"Entering into this partnership with Action will help support our efforts to conserve endangered whales and maritime ecosystems. As a thank you to any newcomer who joins our cause by making a first time auto, boat, motorhome or other qualified property donation to PCCS, we will award a complimentary one-year membership!" said PCCS Development Officer, Janet Young. "Action's conscientious efforts to refurbish and 'recycle' unwanted vehicles and vessels whenever possible reflects our own beliefs about preserving resources and preventing waste, whether natural or manmade."

Action Donation Services® has been processing donations nationwide for nearly ten years. ADS not only picks up qualified vehicles nationwide but specializes in processing motorhomes, boats, heavy construction equipment and has expertise in processing donated high value yachts - including a program which may allow the donor to claim as a deduction the appraised value of the vessel at the time of donation (rather than the gross selling price when the vessel is sold). The appraised value is often higher than the gross selling price in today's slow market.
