Many people have gift cards lying around that they do not want or do not need, this is a great way to turn them into a hot meal for someone in need
Brick, NJ (PRWEB) September 20, 2017
Although Hurricane Harvey has passed, the recovery efforts in its aftermath are ongoing and critical to Houston’s recovery. The Houston Food Bank, one of the area's leading charities has been at the forefront of the relief efforts and continues to help feed those who are displaced or otherwise severely affected by Harvey.
The Houston Food Bank, together with CardCash, the leading gift card exchange platform, announced an innovative partnership to help the relief work. “Many people have gift cards lying around that they do not want or do not need, this is a great way to turn them into a hot meal for someone in need,” explained Steven Weldler, V.P. of Marketing at CardCash.
The Houston Food Bank can now accept hundreds of brand name gift cards that would most likely go unused, and convert them into much needed funding through the CardCash platform.
