Internet Radio Show features Brian Fleming, Purple Heart Recipient and Author of “Never the Same; Overcoming the attack of a Suicide Bomber”.

Better Job Better Pay Better Life

Brian Fleming, wounded Veteran of the war in Afghanistan and author of 'Never the Same: Overcoming the Attack of a Suicide Bomber', will be featured on Total Career Success, an Internet show on VoiceAmerica Talk Radio Network, at 11 a.m. Central on Monday, September 7. The show is designed to inform and encourage listeners to achieve their career goals by featuring experts and business leaders to provide job search assistance and career development.

With the many wounded veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, today’s guest has a timely message to share through his memoir, Never the Same. It is a very personal story of a young Veteran badly burned by a suicide bomber and how he overcame his physical and emotional wounds. Brian’s story of struggle, perseverance, courage and hope is one from which we can all learn and benefit. He will share some of the lessons he has learned from his experience and how he is applying them to help others.

Brian dedicated his book to the memory of those who fought beside him but did not return from war. The humility and dedication of our military are common characteristics. These patriots know the price of freedom and gladly serve. They are an inspiration to us all and Brian demonstrates these qualities with a grace and maturity uncommon at his young age.

Show co-host Sheryl Dawson shared, “Never the Same: Overcoming the Attack of a Suicide Bomber is one power packed little book. Brian passionately shares his story -- that of a young high school graduate who desired to serve the cause of freedom, no matter the cost. While serving in Afghanistan he survived the trauma of being badly burned and then endured the pain of physical and emotional healing. He paid a high cost, yet shares how the experience transformed him into a better person.

Co-host Ken Dawson added, “One of the most mature and dedicated young men I have ever met, Brian is a model for young and old alike. He demonstrates the power of faith and purpose to overcome the trials and challenges that life brings. If you want to be inspired, tune in to the broadcast.”

The show will air live at 11 a.m. - noon Central on September 7, 2009. To listen, please visit and search for Total Career Success. The archived show will be available for replay or download at the Total Career Success website, or from iTunes
