To find a job one needs to be creative: go to networking groups, ask friends for referrals, think nontraditional when putting together a resume, and think online as well as offline. Since only 16% of employers plan to hire some time this year, think outside of the box and look for ways to increase the chances of being one of the people who get an open position. Currently there are positions in the health care industry for instance registered nurses, medical assistants, health-care administrator, medical technician, occupational therapist, and pharmacist. But working in the health care industry is not for everyone. What are the alternatives?

Remember, by thinking outside of the box may create an opportunity in the workplace because employers like someone who can take the initiative and think for themselves or even think on their feet when a decision needs to be made and the boss is not around to make it. Today even if you have a job for a company, look for alternative sources of income, because having a multiple streams of income will prevent going into crisis as many people have done during this down economy.
