Career Performance Institute works with clients to help one build a high income business and overcome obstacles that prevent one from making the right decisions. From attending this VBU and listening to the presentations CPI has heard topics that cover many services incorporated in the services CPI offers such as: the power of asking the right questions, finding one’s inner voice, using social media to grow a business, building a brand using Facebook, and 7 Keys to Peak Performance. Many of the topics presented in VBU have their roots in theories covered by psychology—for example Transactional Analysis--one presenter talked about how one sabotages their own success by putting the brakes on their success. TA refers to this as the tapes one hears in one’s head because the significant others in ones life have passed along their own fears from past generations to new generations.
The first step is to recognize the fears one has and then come up with a strategy to overcome these fears and build self confidence. Once this is accomplished then one starts putting together a strategy for success and putting together a mastermind group that becomes one’s support team to keep one on track and to help one recognize when one’s self doubt is creeping into one’s thoughts.
One presentation that stood out was one that talked about mind, body, and spirit. For instance, entrepreneurs often have a different mindset. One should work in a field one has a passion for and enjoy the journey in building one’s business. There should be a balance between one’s mindset and the vision for one’s business.
One should have two spiritual needs—to contribute to humanity and take the steps to move one forward. When one is in balance one becomes aligned and attracts the right people in one’s life. Self image influences one’s ability to succeed.
Career Performance Institute works with clients to help one overcome their “limiting beliefs” which reflects one’s self image. What holds one back? One develops fears and blocks based on the influence from one’s parents. From birth to age 7 one has no filters and take in all messages and internalize them so they become a part of one’s unconscious thoughts that teach one to put up breaks and prevent one from setting and reaching goals. It is at age 8 on into adulthood that one starts to think logically. Remember 10% of one’s thoughts are conscious and 90% of on thoughts are subconscious.
It’s these fears and blocks that Career Performance Institute works with clients to help one overcome so one can set and reach the goals and desires one has to succeed weather in one’s business or personal life. Career and life coaching are combined because one’s self image influences one’s ability to set and achieve success in business.
This knowledge is important since in the 21st Century business has moved from working for a company in an office to working for oneself from home. Adapting to the new workplace is difficult for many older generations; therefore, there is a high demand for services to help one get from where one is to where one needs to be to succeed.
Often the validation of oneself comes from the people around us. When one has self confident in one’s abilities then one recognizes one’s unrealistic fears and learn to overcome them.
