Former Google Executive and New Media Expert Charley Cassell Joins Vibes Media as Chief Financial Officer

Vibes Media, the market-leading interactive mobile marketing company, announced today the appointment of Charley Cassell as Chief Financial Officer. Cassell held several senior positions at leading internet companies before joining Vibes. In his previous role as CFO of Chicago-based internet company FeedBurner, he played a pivotal role in the company’s acquisition by Google and managed the integration of sales, business operations and financial processes, helping to sustain consistent quarterly growth.

With more than 15 years experience, Cassell brings an impressive record in management, strategic planning, budgeting and financial operations to the innovative mobile marketing firm, as well as invaluable knowledge of building operational structures needed to sustain company growth. Cassell also held various roles at Yahoo!, including tenure as Senior Director of Business Operations for the Communications Products Business Unit. Prior to his time at Yahoo!, Cassell worked for noted companies including eGroups, Inc and Learning Insights, in addition to serving as Assistant Vice President in John Nuveen & Co.'s Healthcare Corporate Finance Group. Cassell holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
