Weston-Super Mare, Somerset, England Cat lovers looking to provide their dearly beloved pets the very best in healthy, tasty cat food have found their savior in the new site CateFoodRecipiesOnline.com. Developed by long-time cat breeder Frank Brown, CatFoodRecipiesOnline.com offers hundreds of healthy, safe cat food recipes, which comes in response to the recall of hundreds of 'Mars' pet food products in the United States late last year.

"This latest safety scare, involving Salmonella poisoning, has incensed cat lovers scrambling to seek a safe alternative to the often unreliable commercial pet foods," Frank said.

The latest recall, following hot on the heels of the massive 'tainted pet food scandal' that killed hundreds of cats worldwide, is another in a long line of pet food recalls. They are becoming so commonplace that its frightening states Frank, himself a victim of tainted pet food. He lost two 'darling kitties' to kidney failure caused by noxious substances in commercial pet food several years ago.

Following upon that heartbreaking event he investigated what went into commercial pet food and what he found horrified him.

Says Frank: "My investigations took me to a meat rendering plant and the sights I saw there almost caused me to lose my stomach contents.... Did you know that animal feces cooked in blood and urine is a prime ingredient in commercial pet food?"

As if that isn't bad enough; thousands of euthanized pet cats and dogs, often complete with their collars and leashes; along with putrefying road kill, diseased and cancerous animal flesh, rotting supermarket meat and Styrofoam packaging are just a few of the unsavory ingredients that will be 'Kitties' next meal.

"I've never fed my cats on commercial cat food since visiting that rendering plant..." quipped Frank "and now they are simply pulsating with vibrant life even at 20 years old."

So healthy and full of life are his pet cats that Frank and his wife have been inundated with calls from desperate cat owners asking him what he does to keep them fully-charged and full of life whilst their own pets have become lethargic shadows of their former selves.

So great has the demand been that Frank and Anne have decided to make their secret available to the general public. It is a delightful book crammed with delicious, easy to make home cooked meals. Most of the scrumptious treats were handed down by his mother, whose own cats lived for 25 years or more, and are irresistible to cats.

According to Frank, seeing the change in vitality and behavior in a once sickly cat is one of life's great joys. Most vet visits are due to poor quality cat food. Meals often laced with chemicals and poisons are foisted upon the unsuspecting cat owner by the commercial cat food companies.

He said: "The cute cats suffer abysmally from this poor diet and the owners are often faced with hefty vet bills (quite often losing their darling pets at a very young age as well). All of this is so unnecessary - a simple change of diet can work wonders!"
