If they don't want to fix the problem – or even admit that they have one – the chances of them succeeding are slim to none.

Lindsay Lohan checked into Sundance Utah's Cirque Lodge in 2007, after three other unsuccessful attempts in traditional 12 step luxury celebrity rehabs.₁Traditional rehab seemed to have finally worked it's magic for Lohan, until her next few arrests for failing drug and alcohol tests while under the watch of probation.₁ Luxury rehabs cost celebrities thousands of dollars which they invest in hope of a sober future that sadly never comes together. The bottom line is ritzy resorts, marble floors and personal chefs have nothing to do with overcoming a drug and alcohol addiction. If these traditional rehabs actually worked why would celebrities constantly be revisiting them like a trendy vacation spot?
For Sorrentino's sake, hopefully he checked into rehab for himself and not because his publicist or anyone else suggested it to him. "When someone around celebrities decides that they have a problem, they are told to check themselves into drug or alcohol rehab. This is not their choice, but the act of taking advice from someone else. If they don't want to fix the problem – or even admit that they have one – the chances of them succeeding are slim to none" claims Michelle Dunbar, Executive Director of Saint Jude Retreats; a drug and alcohol alternative solution to rehab.
Can "The Situation" learn how to stop using drugs in rehab? Only time can tell, but by entering into a conventional celebrity rehab where he is labeled with a "disease" and a "forever addiction," things are not looking good for Sorrentino. If he is truly abusing Xanax & Ambien then partying until 4 am in the Jersey Shore House while filming Season 6 won't be the best "situation" unless he makes the CHOICE to stop his use for good.
