According to an IAB internet advertising revenue report, 2012 saw a 111% growth in mobile advertising, reaching $3.4 billion. This is the second consecutive year mobile advertising has experienced triple digit growth, according to the report. These statistics are among many factors affecting the value of cell towers and cell tower leases.

With the constant rise in demand for mobile connectivity, advertisers are responding with an influx of ads that are accessible on mobile devices.
