It presently leases space to Sprint Nextel Corp (the third largest telecom provider in North America and 85th largest company in the United States) for the occupancy and use of roof-top cell tower equipment at its Fort Lee, New Jersey property. The collection of expenses due from Sprint dates back to 2001 and is a significant recovery for Strategic Storage Trust, Inc.

It was discovered that Strategic Storage Trust’s existing lease with Sprint and the related use of the Fort Lee, New Jersey site, revealed Sprint Nextel had failed to pay certain expenses due within the terms of the lease. Vertical Consultants reconciliation efforts on behalf of Strategic Storage Trust resulted not only in an immediate recovery of past due amounts owed, but also the establishment of an accurate and continued collections of expenses associated with their lease moving forward.
