The primary goal of The Centenarian Shuffle is to educate participants on the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle and encourage them to aim for age one hundred.
Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) May 29, 2013
Connect the Doc is pleased to announce that it will be sponsoring the first annual Centenarian Shuffle, a Balance Walking fundraiser event that supports InspireHealth – a non-profit organization that provides extensive care to those diagnosed with cancer. This local walking event will be taking place on Sunday, June 2, 2013 in Stanley Park.
“One of our main goals is to promote regular activity and healthy living,” says Nadeem Kassam, co-founder of Connect the Doc’s online appointment booking platform. “After years of playing tennis competitively, I have learnt to never take my health for granted – prevention is better than cure. The Centenarian Shuffle is a great way for the community to get involved and work together to promote healthy living and a fantastic cause.”
The primary goal of The Centenarian Shuffle is to “educate participants on the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle and encourage them to aim for age one hundred,” says Christian Johannsen, owner of Foot Solutions on West Broadway, and event coordinator of The Centenarian Shuffle.
Connect the Doc is proud to be an ambassador for healthy living at this event and would like to invite you to join them at their booth at the health fair on June 2nd, 2013 after the walk.
