“With better quality, more in-depth population health data, hospital systems, healthcare researchers, payers and providers can better understand, reach and proactively manager their population health outcomes,” - Jayne Krahn, VP Research, Kantar Media

CentraForce Health, a web-enabled population health intelligence platform provider, is pleased to announce a newly formed Alliance integrating data from the Nielsen ScarboroughMARS Consumer Healthcare Module and other well-known data partners to offer one of the most extensive patient-centric insight platforms on the market.

When combined with CentraForce proprietary applications, the newly expanded offering results in an exclusive resource that delivers more than 100,000 measures surveyed across millions of locally sampled respondents. This respondent-level population health intelligence reaches every local market throughout the United States and is currently used to define and profile all types of key populations for health systems, payers and researchers.

“With better quality, more in-depth population health data, hospital systems, healthcare researchers, payers and providers can better understand, reach and proactively manager their population health outcomes,” states Jayne Krahn, VP Research, Kantar Media.

“Nielsen Scarborough insights have long been used to fuel growth across multiple industries both locally and nationally and we’re pleased to have them included in CentraForce Health’s Population 360° Health Intelligence Platform,” said Carly Litzenberger, Vice President, Nielsen Local Insights.

Donna Berry, Ph.D., RN, AOCN, FAAN, Associate Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute adds that the CentraForce Health Platform has helped her uncover new insights in key research areas - “We’ve had great success with a number of education programs for English-speaking cancer patients, yet we’ve struggled to connect with Spanish-language speakers. CentraForce Health’s Population 360° Health Intelligence Platform provided us with a level of detail around Hispanic Populations with cancer that is currently shaping our intervention development, as well as where we can reach these populations. It’s been a great resource for understanding how to better connect with non-English speakers with cancer education and treatment access options.”

Beyond research applicability this new partnership empowers partners to integrate datasets and expand their resource of population health intelligence. “We are in the process of developing seamless integration between CentraForce Health products and our big data healthcare platforms. Their dataset provides a fully compliant, comprehensive contextual framework that is geography specific, highly relevant to specific population health challenges and fills many blanks that cannot be filled with traditional health care data sources alone,” says Charles Boicey, MS, RN-BC, CPHIMS.
