For the 24th Annual Lowcountry Oyster Festival, guests can enjoy a feast of oysters while staying in an oceanfront villa on Isle of Palms.

Historic and beautiful Boone Hall Plantation will be the venue for the 24th Annual Lowcountry Oyster Festival, held on January 28 in Mount Pleasant, SC, at 1235 Long Point Road. This family-oriented event features oyster shucking and eating contests, two tractor-trailer loads of single select oysters sold by the bucket, live music, games and activities. Sponsored by the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association, this has been named one of the "Top 20 Events in the Southeast" by the Southeastern Tourism Society. Gates open at 10:30 a.m. with free parking. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $8.00 through the association office or at the gate for $10.00.
