"We ensure our PDR process is faster than traditional repair methods and can be accomplished for about 1/3 of the cost.” - Grant Allen, Dent Wizard Regional Hail Manager.

In response to this weekend’s disastrous hail storm that ripped through North Carolina and South Carolina, Dent Wizard is providing hail damage vehicle repair services to the distressed areas. Using the latest Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) technology, Dent Wizard removes hail damage while protecting and preserving the vehicle’s original condition.

“As North and South Carolina residents experienced this week, when a destructive storm pummels cars, houses and other property with up to tennis ball sized hail, many are left dreading thinking about the cost and time needed to reverse the damage. At Dent Wizard, we understand these concerns and the affects hail can take on a vehicle’s look, as well as the value. This is why we ensure our PDR process is faster than traditional repair methods and can be accomplished for about 1/3 of the cost,” said Grant Allen, Dent Wizard Regional Hail Manager.

Dent Wizard is the global leader of Paintless Dent Removal (PDR), a unique process in which the dent is accessed from behind the metal with specially designed tools and then slowly 'massaged' out, leaving the factory paint intact and each vehicle in its original form. Dent Wizard’s PDR hail damage repairs can usually be completed within a day or two and at a fraction of the cost of traditional repair methods. Dent Wizard has the resources to adequately staff repairs, even in the face of substantial damage to customer vehicles. One of the unique benefits of Dent Wizard is that they have employees on the ground year round, unlike typical 'hail chasers' that come in for a storm and leave when the damage is under control.

According to insurance companies, South Carolina alone is facing up to $45 million dollars in property hail damage. This number is only expected to climb as more claims are filed. Totals from North Carolina are not yet available. Areas with large numbers of damage reports include Charlotte, NC; Pineville, NC; as well as Gastonia and surrounding towns on the North and South Carolina border.
