We are very appreciative for the opportunity to help the Johnson family and we look forward to seeing the episode air.
Houston, TX (Vocus) September 8, 2010
This summer, Charming Charlie, a Houston-based women's fashion accessory company, participated in an episode of ABC's Emmy-winning Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The episode features the Johnsons, a very deserving, community-oriented and fashion loving family that had suffered extreme losses due to 2008's Hurricane Ike and the economic downturn.
“With six fashionable females in this family, we knew that this project was a perfect fit for Charming Charlie! We specialize in women’s accessories and offering all of those finishing touches that complete an outfit, so this was a dream opportunity to help a local family,” stated Patty Fadhouli, Charming Charlie Director of Marketing. “We had a great time picking out fashion accessories to match everyone’s unique style, color preferences and personality. This was a true labor of love for our team.”
Charming Charlie CEO Charlie Chanaratsopon said, “We are very appreciative for the opportunity to help the Johnson family and we look forward to seeing the episode air.” Over 3,500 volunteers participated in the building of the Johnson's new dream home at 3613 Goodhope St. Elaine Johnson and the family’s five daughters received Charming Charlie fashion accessories that included fashion jewelry, handbags, belts, scarves, hats and hair accessories.
In addition, Charming Charlie corporate and store staff helped wallpaper, paint and accessorize the home. The fall season of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition starts September 26 on ABC.
