It is with great pride that we select these young women and men who best represent the All-Star cheerleading industry as role models and athletes.

Cheer Channel has partnered with Chassé to enhance its widely popular “Superstars of the All-Stars” program, and provide cheerleaders like Whitney Sharpe with additional opportunities for her future, including a scholarship award. 2013 marks the second year for Cheer Channel’s Superstars of All-Stars program. Carly Manning is one of the 10 Superstars, following in the footsteps of internationally recognized cheerleader Maddie Gardner, who was one of the 2012 Superstars.

Each year, Cheer Channel Inc. handpicks its Superstars of All-Stars. Based on their ability to meet a very high set of standards both as an athlete and a person, the cheerleaders that are chosen represent the cream of the crop in the spirit industry. The standards the Superstars must meet include talent, commitment, dedication, physical skill, leadership, fan support, personality, community involvement, academic achievements, social skills, and respect of teammates and coaches.

"It is with great pride that we select these young women and men who best represent the All-Star cheerleading industry as role models and athletes, and emphasize the meaning of 'spirit' in our industry," said Cindy Villarreal, Cheer Channel CEO.

Sharpe is a flyer for East Celebrity Elite International Open Coed Level 5. She got her start with Pop Warner when she was eight years old and transitioned to cheer at East Elite the next year where she made her way from youth level 1 to International Open Level 5. Along with cheer, she has been a ballet dancer for several years.

Sharpe was on the Inside Cheerleading Magazine "All American Team" in 2012 and is a three-time MA State Champion, 2012 NCA Runner Up, and 2012 UCA Champion. At the 2012 Cheerleading Worlds, she was in the top 10. Sharpe’s best advice to young cheerleaders is to have a life outside of the cheer gym, volunteer in the community, join another sport, and have fun while you're a kid.

“We are incredibly pleased to have Whitney representing our company. She is a great model, and represents the hard work and dedication required to be a champion cheerleader,” commented Chassé marketing manager, Jessica Rzeszut.
