First impressions of the service was that the quick quoting systems offered an extremely short quote process

Last Friday, the 23rd February, one of the internet’s up and coming comparison websites (http://www.cheap.co.uk) released several new comparison engines which included a pet insurance service.
A representative for Cheap.co.uk stated “Friday was an extremely busy day for us, several new comparison engines were launched including pet insurance, home insurance and income protection. We believe these fit in line with the insurance products we already offer and should be a useful service to our existing customers and new site visitors.”
They continued: “Cheap is beginning to bring together various insurance and financial services to make the site a worthwhile comparison site in a hope to put it in level with some of the best on the web.”
On requesting a site user to test several of the comparison services, feedback included the following: “First impressions of the service was that the quick quoting systems offered an extremely short quote process, especially the pet insurance system which took literally a minute and half to complete. After entering some basic contact details and answers around 8 questions regarding the pet, in our case it was for Labrador insurance, a quote followed on screen with a large number of insurance companies to choose from, as expected results were in price order.”
Cheap.co.uk has a history in the insurance industry with previous services provided in contract with Beatthatquote.com although these were almost all based on contact details being passed to Beatthatquote for staff to contact. The new insurance comparisons are mainly based with online to offer site visitors a quick and easy service.
Other services released on Friday include health insurance, breakdown cover, pet insurance, income protection and home insurance. This announcement comes just two weeks after the sites newest additions which included car insurance.
