Online travel extras comparison website Cheap.co.uk has advised of an update to the airport lounges area of its website.
A spokesmen commented “we carried out a massive content update yesterday which repopulated all the lounge data we held. The system has also changed in that it will update content by itself on a quote by quote basis, saving us time but also making the system more useful to site visitors.”
Cheap.co.uk has been involved in offering airport lounges since the websites first development although it was only split into its own area around four months ago. The spokesmen continued: “we wanted to provide a more specific area for the airport lounges. Car parking, airport hotels and ferries all had their own unique areas and we though lounges deserved the same hence the new area. We plan on further improving this by adding specific areas for each airport and highlighting the lounges on offer.”
An airport lounge is an area inside an airport operated by either a airline or company, they offer a more comfortable, quieter environment then in the airport terminal. Many offer free drinks and snacks along with business facilities and the first class lounges can even include smoking areas, spa and massage services and showers.
