Cheaper.co.uk confirms a good start to December for voucher codes

Online discount voucher and promotional website Cheaper.co.uk advises the first half of December has seen a heavy increase in the number of promotional codes viewed on their site.

Online retailers are experiencing their busiest time of the year and it seems website users are looking to take advantage of any special offers or promotions where possible.

A member of the management team for online discount voucher website Cheaper.co.uk has confirmed that the site received a higher than average number of visitors over the first half of December.

The site which specialises in offering visitors free use of discount codes and special offers from a number of online retailers including names such as Play.com and Argos highlighted the thirty percent off discount code on a number of toys and gifts at iwantoneofthose.com as a particularly popular discount code.

A spokesmen for the company commented, “It may be time of year, online retailers are experiencing their busiest time of the year and it seems website users are looking to take advantage of any special offers or promotions where possible.”

It appeared Christmas shoppers where looking to make the most of special offers and promotions with an increasing number of online stores using the means of offering discount vouchers as an additional form of advertising and promoting their site.

“Christmas is an expensive time and if a user notices an area to enter a promotion code it doesn’t take long to enter the sites name and ‘discount code’ into a search engine such as Google or Yahoo. Many online retailers are fully aware of the benefits of the promotions, it increases the online presences of their store.”

Cheaper.co.uk is part of the Cheap brand, a collection of websites dedicated to money saving through insurance comparisons, travel extras, an everyday shopping comparison, special rates and promotions.
